I came across a blog that spoke about England doing away with fact based history teaching and instead was teaching social items like global warming. I thought about this for a minute and realized that, we need to do an audit of what is being taught in our schools.
History is very important to a student’s growth. I know I loved to study history but today we are moving away from fact based teaching. The question is if we are going to pay for our schools, we need to have a better say in what they are teaching in them.
That’s my 2 cents, what is yours
