Alexander M. Haig passes on at 85, The Man Who should have been President

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

Alexander Haig should have been President. This man served America with great conviction. He served and worked with 7 Presidents. This was one of my personal favorites in Washington. He was tough as nails and fought for what he believed in. We could use more people like General Haig in Washington today.

“Some of you may have seen me in trouble over the years, with Watergate and the day the president was shot,” Haig said, the Globe’s John Ellement wrote. “But I’ll tell you something, the candidate who’s never done anything, never has any controversy around — I’m not going to be that kind of candidate.”  Story link Boston Globe

The State of the Union vs Spending

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

The real state of the Union is we are broke. Listen to me people we are broke and President Obama still does not have plan to do anything but make things worse.

We need to cut as many services and spending from our government as we can. Nothing is off limits. Perhaps across the board spending cuts and as high as the rate needs to be. We need to work toward balancing the budget and cutting taxes. Not spending more and raising taxes.

President Obama has learned nothing from Scott Brown’s election. He acts like he does, but he hasn’t. It will take a big loss by Democrats in Nov for him to change his goals.

His speech tonight was all over the place. He feels your pain because he caused some of it. Bush was bad and but this guy is worse. So we are counting down the days until we can vote again.

So to recap, The US government is broke. We have to tell them to stop spending our money like fools before we go out of business.

Freedom in America is on Fire! Will you answer the call?

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

America sure has more than it’s share of problems right now. The question is; what are we going to do about it? How much more can we take in the name of “protecting us”? The time has come to stand up to people using fear to run our lives. There is always has been risk in life and Americans has always been willing to work through it.

We have to attack the problems now. You can start this by talking with your friends about our country. Perhaps run for an office. I have just finished a 4 month term on my local city council filling in. I never thought I would be on a city council but it was my civic duty to give freedom a voice. I’m glad I did it.

The point is do something, Rebellion News is ringing the fire bell because freedom in America is on fire. Will you answer the call?

If Obamacare passes at 1am, what happens next?

Sunday, December 20th, 2009

If this health care bill passes and the President signs this into law. We can not give up. Anyone who votes for this bill is signing their own ticket right out of Washington. We have to remind the voters that if their representative voted for this bill. They need to be voted right out of office.
For now, we have to wait and see how the vote goes on Monday. Contact your senator and tell them how you feel before it is too late.

Socialism vs. Capitalism 2009 and beyond

Wednesday, December 9th, 2009

The fight between Socialism vs. Capitalism has been going on forever. People change, but the debate is the same. I added a video the other night to the site. This video was filmed in 1979 and it could have been today without much effort.

I wonder why people believe in socialism. In 1991 it was proven to fail. When USSR failed, this was an super power example of socialism not working.

So why do some Americans believe in this failed economic model?

My answer is the education system. We have some teachers who still believe in their dream of socialism. They pass their values on to the students. The students in turn think this is the only way. The 2008 election was a case in point.

The Obama Administration is filled with this new kind of group. They are called Neosocialist. They believe in this old failed set of ideas. The idea of taking money from one group of people and giving to another, under the idea of helping that group. When all the group needed was for the government to make an environment where business is growing and hiring people.
