No one is advocating violence or even screaming matches at any of the town hall meetings. One side isn’t RIGHT and so all the others not on that side are wrong. Here’s where compromise can be worked out but not in the way it’s being done. How helpful is it to add lies to what’s in the health care reform bill? No one is advocating ‘death squads’. They certainly don’t have that in foreign countries that do have a government run health care program.
Last night I was listening to a doctor talk about the high costs that doctors incur from insurance companies just for all the paperwork. Real reform could happen but it would require insurance companies to also bend.
I know you don’t like to hear it, Tom, but everything doesn’t have to be about making tons of money. Some money, yes, but tons at the expense of people simply isn’t justifiable.
