Alexander M. Haig passes on at 85, The Man Who should have been President

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

Alexander Haig should have been President. This man served America with great conviction. He served and worked with 7 Presidents. This was one of my personal favorites in Washington. He was tough as nails and fought for what he believed in. We could use more people like General Haig in Washington today.

“Some of you may have seen me in trouble over the years, with Watergate and the day the president was shot,” Haig said, the Globe’s John Ellement wrote. “But I’ll tell you something, the candidate who’s never done anything, never has any controversy around — I’m not going to be that kind of candidate.”  Story link Boston Globe

That’s my 2cents, what is yours?
