The EU is flexing it’s muscle. What does America think?

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009

Here is a few highlights from the speech  from new elected EU President Herman Van Rompuy.

He stated, “2009 is the first year of global governance with the establishment of the G20 in the middle of the financial crisis.”

He went on to say, “The climate conference in Copenhagen is another step toward the global management of our planet.”

**************************************************

I see the EU flexing it’s muscle on 3 fronts:

1. World Court (based in the EU)
2. Climate Conference in Copenhagen (First World Tax)
3. Euros replacing the US Dollar as the reserve currency

United States can do a few things to hang on to Global Leadership:

1. Cut taxes and laws for business and people.
2. Cut the Deficit and balance the budget.
3. Finish the Wars and rebuild our military.

If we do not act the 3 items above. The EU will pass us in 2-5 years. The question is:

Do we still want to be the world’s policeman?

That is my 2cents, what is yours?
