The real state of the Union is we are broke. Listen to me people we are broke and President Obama still does not have plan to do anything but make things worse.
We need to cut as many services and spending from our government as we can. Nothing is off limits. Perhaps across the board spending cuts and as high as the rate needs to be. We need to work toward balancing the budget and cutting taxes. Not spending more and raising taxes.
President Obama has learned nothing from Scott Brown’s election. He acts like he does, but he hasn’t. It will take a big loss by Democrats in Nov for him to change his goals.
His speech tonight was all over the place. He feels your pain because he caused some of it. Bush was bad and but this guy is worse. So we are counting down the days until we can vote again.
So to recap, The US government is broke. We have to tell them to stop spending our money like fools before we go out of business.

Tom – I didn’t watch the man. It is too painful to listen to him play the blame game. I knew I would learn enough from the many sources playing clips in the following days.
Your comments about cutting spending are right on! I am currently reading “National Suicide: How Washington is Destroying The American Dream From A to Z.”
There many examples of wasteful spending in that book… and, I’m only half way through! I hope that Americans can stay awake long enough to get a handle on this situation.
